(NaBloPoMo Day 20)
Another wrap for Thanksgiving and NaBloPoMo, that is. I’m definitely not calling it quits on the year.
I thought I was going to scale my now-annual Thanksgiving brunch back due to having overslept, but I decided against it. Homemade hash browns are what would have been nixed due to time and effort, but they are my favorite part of brunch so I just couldn’t leave them out.

Also, another Thanksgiving at work in the books. It’s a day unlike any other, for sure. But you couldn’t pay me to get out and shop on Thanksgiving. It’s getting to the point where you just about can’t pay me to get out and shop, period. My family’s so easy; they just want money.
And lastly, there’s another NaBloPoMo in the books. Did I meet my goal? Well…yes. And no. I made the commitment to weekdays only, beginning on November 4. And I wrote a post for every single weekday, and published every single weekday except for last Friday. I had the post in my drafts folder, but I guess I forgot to schedule it. I went back and retro-published it with a note stating it had not been published on that day. Still, I’m calling it a success.
#NaBloPoMo2019 may be going on till the end of the month, but this is officially my last post. Next year, I think I’ll stick with the weekday commitment, unless I’m feeling different at the time. I also need to remember to promote more on social media and in the NaBloPoMo groups. Other than that, I think I’m off to a good start with blogging something other than blog hops now.
