Music Monday for 12.23.2019

Here are a few Holiday tunes for our final Christmas Music Monday. I tried my best to pick versions that maybe everyone hasn’t heard yet. I’ve included a few well-known songs as well as some originals. Hope you enjoy! Head over to Dolly’s to see more playlists.

Alice Cooper, John5, Vinnie Appice, Billy Sheehan – “Santa Claws Is Coming To Town”

Lemmy Kilmister, Dave Grohl, Billy Gibbons – “Run Run Rudolph”

The Killers featuring Dawes – “Christmas in L.A.”

Type O Negative – “Red Water (Christmas Mourning)”

Korn – “Kidnap the Sandy Claws”

And finally, Dracula/Saruman himself…he could certainly have had a good side gig as a metal singer!

Christopher Lee – “Little Drummer Boy”

What are some of YOUR favorite holiday songs/versions of holiday songs?

I LOVE LOVE The Killers Christmas in L.A and so does my son. We actually listen to that one all the time. I’m a huge fan of none Christmasy songs because they tend to get really old when the start playing them in the stores right after Halloween. Another fun album is Twisted Sister’s Christmas.

Oooh, I forgot about Twisted Sister doing an entire album! I do love their version of “Come All Ye Faithful”, though! I enjoy the non-Christmasy songs a lot, too.
